Have you tried physical therapy yet?


I'm likely in a similar boat. PT has helped quite a bit, though.

My dad had both knees replaced, and it was absolute utter hell. Granted, it was mostly due to what was probably malpractice.

I also needed a full year to recover from "minor" shoulder surgery that should have had a 4-12 week recovery. So I'm particularly paranoid about having surgery unless there is no other option. Once you do, there is no undoing it.
