You should be able to bring the car seat.

If FAA approved - Ok, my info is probably outdated since my kids are 26 and 25, but we always brought their seats on planes with us. You just need to put them in a window seat since you can't block them in. I'd check on it. You're probably bringing the seat anyway, just checking it?
