Flew a P-3 thru the northern and western edges of Hugo 4hrs before landfall

to get the plane into the hangar in Jax. The rest of squadron had move planes to P’cola and Nawlins. We were inbound from Machrihanish, Scotland where we had been part of a 3 wk NATO exercise. Drove up I-95 a couple days later, to Nova for my brother’s wedding, it was mess, well into Virginia.
