A measure of range shooting popularity in the CLT -

TSO went last Friday to the range we joined for a one-on-one lesson to fine tune some issues she was having: stance, shot groupings, grip, etc. Used a Walther PPQ for the first time and really liked it, and picked up a lot of tips - and a mag loader - that we'll put to use today when we do our Sunday practice. I'm the one who loads the mags because it's not an issue with me, but it'll be interesting to use the loader. I may go for a lesson after today, if results (or lack thereof) so dictate. We're still very new and have much to learn but we're making progress.

Anyway, to the point - our range opens at 11am. When TSO got there for her noon appointment at 11:45 the place was slammed. Her instructor said that when they arrived at 10:50 to open the place up, the entire parking lot was full (50-60 cars?) and people were lined up outside waiting to get in.
