Reckless CAN be a misdemeanor, or a felony. And speed can be anything, BUT


If the ticket is for 20 over, or for 85 or over, it IS reckless. No need to state what is already the law.

The local prosecutor can knock the offense down (usually with the agreement of the charging officer) to 19 over (and they often do so) and reduce the charge, but there is no option if convicted at at 20 over or over 85 mph regardless of the liimit (as of June 2020).

I'm not sure what you're disagreeing with, but there are differences between infractions, like normal speeding tickets) and misdemeanors and felonies. Not sure why you would assume I'm making this stuff up.
