Yea, from my perspective you couldn't pay me to be a cop now


or encourage my kids to. Sooo rough on them as a profession. It has gone from rooting out bad apples (which I think 95% or more agree with) to police are the devil and (insert bad thing to do to them). Just hate to see the eroding of support for the police in general. As a society, IMO, it will only bring bad outcomes as this trust/support/funding/protections/etc. erode. I see this as another step in that direction.

From my view, why do police deserve less rights than other groups? I think they frankly need more now.

Would any of you encourage your kids to be police in this environment? I wouldn't wish it on anyone at this point.
