Well, COVID-19 deaths are much lower in tropical countries where

they take HCQ as a malaria preventative, but must be given very early. Some studies showing it doesn't work were on critically ill patients.

Also, it's 11 cents per pill verses (reportedly) $3000 per pill for Remdesivir.
