I think only about 24 schools (wild guess) would end up *not* walking


in that scenario. A gradual landslide so to speak that would allow for a reset of the out of control escalating spending wars and NIL issues. Those that “stay” would largely be the power blue blood football schools.

So the loss to the breakaway schools would not be in basketball but would be in football revenues to the extent that the largest tv pay checks would go to the 24 football powers. The breakaway football schools wouls still get plenty of TV exposure but just not as much money.
