All I know is there sure seemed to be quite a few Hollywood A-list types getting tested when the rest of us were told just go back home and don't bother us unless you get really really sick. My son was one of those, it wasn't strep, it wasn't flu either per tests for those, but after three days of a fever above 103...it just went away. I asked for a COVID test but didn't get one.
