Not to thread jack, but I am in the same situation, but I want my two ext.


monitors to be able to extend not just mirror my laptop. For example, in the one linked, your external monitors will be recognized as a single monitor rather than 2 and they will mirror the image. For example, screen #1 is my laptop, screen 2 and 3, my external monitors, are recognized as one displayed and the image is mirrored on both monitors so you really only have screens 1, 2 & 2 rather than screens 1, 2, 3. I was hoping to find something inexpensive to do this and was not able. Work space is limited at home and I don't want to lug my docking station from work back and forth (I still have to go in regularly to perform some tasks).
