You said it was over two posts ago. I replied with nothing more than a
quote and you decided you wanted to get the last word in. No one wants violence. My point has been twofold. First it’s not like there haven’t been plenty of non violent protests in a variety of different ways. Not only did those not bring about change but they were often criticized as not being appropriate, wrong place, not the time, shut up and dribble, etc.
Second people say”I don’t understand why people are rioting “. I think it’s worth exploring and trying to figure that out. Logically it doesn’t make sense but this isn’t always about logic. Assuming of course that the people looting and rioting are doing so in response to injustice (as opposed to just wanting to cause chaos, steal things, etc) why do they feel compelled to do that? That was what I was getting at with the quote.
