I agree some of it seems arbitrary but at the same time there had to be a line drawn somewhere and anything on the wrong side of that could feel slighted.

Liquor stores can be rationalized in a couple ways depending on how cynical you are. Either they stayed open because they didn’t want a bunch of alcoholics going through DTs in the middle of a pandemic or they stayed open because they generate money for the state.

Of course if they’d been closed people would have thrown a fit about that (see my point about the line above) so not a great example there. A better one would have been pro wrestling being essential in Florida.
