gave multiple examples of that happening previously. Now you seem to have shifted your argument from control to economic. I’m not sure how the essential businesses stuff is “people controlling us”. I agree some of it seems arbitrary but at the same time there had to be a line drawn somewhere and anything on the wrong side of that could feel slighted.

Liquor stores can be rationalized in a couple ways depending on how cynical you are. Either they stayed open because they didn’t want a bunch of alcoholics going through DTs in the middle of a pandemic or they stayed open because they generate money for the state.

Of course if they’d been closed people would have thrown a fit about that (see my point about the line above) so not a great example there. A better one would have been pro wrestling being essential in Florida.
