I just don't get this angle. The economy I get. The health impact I get.


The "this is the government trying to control us" just doesn't make sense to me. When we lost a fraction of the people we've lost from Covid19 on 9/11 no one batted an eye at giving the government real control. People took their shoes off at airports. They didn't take liquids on flights. A virus kills 30x as many Americans and now we're concerned about the government restricting us? We gave the government all kinds of leeway with regards to listening to private communications and such but having to wear a mask is a bridge too far?
