My old man felt the opposite. When he moved to SC, where there are no

inspections, he still brought his car up here to have the guy at the garage put it through the Virginia inspection. He said he felt better about the safety of his car knowing it's been inspected every year and they tell him when his tires are too worn or his brakes are in bad shape, etc. I don't mind the inspection. It's not like the inspection is expensive. The upkeep might be costly if something doesn't pass, but that needed to be done anyway, dinnit?
