Whey protein advice for 15 yr old son requested


15 yr old son, athlete at top level of his sport (soccer), during virus has started a workout regimen with basic weights and gets workouts from team trainer. He's been keeping up with it and has stated that he wants to build muscle mass and increase strength (plays central defense, it's a good goal for him). Now the question has come about adding protein shakes (whey protein specifically). I don't know much about the best tips on body building, especially for teenagers. Wanted to tap the expertise in the Lounge for help. Thanks in advance!
