Continuing the lockdowns once it was obvious only a few hospitals came even close to running out of capacity is now a solution looking for a new problem.

There are myriad reports of hospitals being empty due to proceedure bans is in fact harming healthcare in general. It is zero surprise the bans on non essential proceedures is being lifted in many states.

The data continues to pile up. Lockdown flattened the curve, it did not change the outcome.
