I think widespread mask usage would significantly reduce the spread.

Simply using good hygiene and preventing respiratory droplets from spraying everywhere should largely reduce the spread of the virus in most environments where people aren't crammed in on top of one another. I think large cities like New York with large public transit systems will continue to struggle...I just don't see a way around that. Everywhere else I think should be able to limit the spread with some common sense and large buy-in from the public. Which might be a challenge...
