About short term hospital capacity. There is some discussion that those susceptible to covid will all get it eventually in the absence of a vaccine so we spread the same number of cases over a longer timeframe to avoid hospital capacity issues. We will see, but fatality rates in countries that did not shut down appear to be similar to those that did shut down without the economic destruction. And most countries follow a similar 12 week schedule of the virus regardless of approach.
Will make for a lot of great data analysis opportunities and hindsight analysis for sure.
