That's not really new information, and the article...


...even quotes one expert who says at this time the most likely explanation is that the tests are so sensitive that they can detect remnants of the virus, even though the virus is no longer capable of replicating in the subject patient. This was evidenced by researchers being unable to replicate virus samples taken from these patients.

I'm not saying the virus isn't dangerous, but I think a lot of these type of articles are just using sensationalized headlines to feed on the public's fear in search of website hits. Is it possible that people can reacquire the virus a short while after recovering? Certainly...but so far the evidence seems to suggest that on a large scale, that is not a concern.
