I will hit Medicare age

in December and have been doing research. Looks like there are two basic supplement options beyond regular Medicare...Medicare Advantage(includes dental, prescriptions, etc) which operates more like a traditional PPO or HMO where you are in a network, but more limited as far as doctor choice. Then, there are Medigap plans which tend to not offer dental, vision, prescriptions, etc.,but are accepted anywhere as long as the doctor accepts Medicare(which almost all do now). I plan to go with Medigap plan G plus an inexpensive prescription plan.
