I want everyone to be safe as possible and have empathy for all.

But like everyone I have more for family and friends and want to be prepared - not hoarding - but prepared. We can't blame officials for not being prepared and then claim officials are making wrong decisions when the try their best to prepare for the local people they represent.

So no, I don't want to ship NY everything they need (and I have extended family in the City) - because that's more than is available right now and would impact what my area has available down the road. Is that harsh? yeah a little.

Would it be different if it started in NY and was radiating out and was not already all over the country? Probably, throw everything at it to try to stop it in it's tracks. But that's not an opportunity we had.
