I'm not sure they increase your chances. It really just depends. If


wearing one makes you constantly fiddle with it and touch your face then sure... or if wearing one makes you assume you're protected and you don't wash hands or avoid others then sure. But just putting a mask on alone isn't going to make you more likely to get it.
