I'm not an economist, but my fear is that this will "self-inflict"...


...an economic crisis. If the average family household loses weeks/months of income, how do they rebound quickly from that? And on a larger scale, if companies lose revenue on the same timescale, they will take a huge hit too. I'm just afraid it's going to make the economy completely stagnant for a while. And these days, nobody wants to waste a good opportunity to completely panic, which makes the situation snowball.

Maybe I am just spooked. But I have a very bad feeling right now.
