A big part of the issue is coaching

Specifically how you manage a college pen. Heard pitched 1/3 of an inning twice this week. He is our best reliever- let him get comfortable.

A good staff handler would slot He,Alford and Starliper as multiple inning guys. Ome in to start the 7th with tge mindset of finishing. Asinine how they are handled.
