I'm reserving judgment till after this season

Head coach and 2 top ass'ts are in their 3d year. Szefc was quoted during GT broadcast saying "for the first time I've got a roster than can compete in the ACC." That seems true at least with respect to the starting pitching. But lineup seems thin and w/o much power at the plate.

Having personally attended >30 games over past 2 years I've not been impressed with ass't coaches' decision-making. As others have noted pitching coach doesn't seem able to build a good consistent bullpen. Among the things I've seen: arbitrarily changing guys' roles, repeatedly getting some up in the 'pen w/o using them, putting 1 or 2 guys in the doghouse for weeks and then expecting him to pitch under pressure, loadly cussing a pitcher out from the dugout if he walks the first batter, etc.
