That's the point though...


The theory (as I understand it, at least) is that dry air allows wet particles to disperse into much tinier wet particles that can then "float around" in the air, essentially making a virus airborne. Humid air keeps the wet droplets more in tact, and they fall to the ground and only pose a threat if they are contacted directly.
