OK, conspiratorati - try this one on for size.


Met a 20-something guy from NY today of Taiwanese heritage. Immediate family all in NYC, extended family in Hong Kong. He said his family had been more concerned about the safety and welfare of their family in HK over the recent street protests and not COVID-19. Sounded like he thought the mainland gubmint drummed up the virus to quell the riots. So I asked him, and he said yes.

If this is deemed a political post, I’d gather then that the TOS is global and I’ll accept a 2-day ban.
