I eat a restrictive diet designed to maximize muscle (prevent loss in a

calorie deficit) but I have no idea what a carnivore diet is... I eat a lot of meat, for sure, but carbs aren't an enemy per se.

I think these "diets" vastly overstate the importance of a particular food group but don't focus enough on micro nutrition.

Where are you getting your calcium, potassium, iron, omega 3's, Vitamin D, etc.

I follow a diet I mostly invented with advice from the Vertical Diet.

Carbs aren't evil. Sugar might be and wheat does the body no good but I eat at least one naval orange each day and 20 carrots. Would keto allow that? If not, it's clearly a weakness in that particular diet...
