Looks more like your basic attempt to gain a better bargaining position


I'm sure they don't want to have their athletic teams fly 1,500-2,000 miles to games.

Now another possibility is if they intend to form a "super conference" with the B12, hoping that will attract SEC/B1X money. Maybe grab 6 B-12 schools, and 6 Pac-12 schools? They will only have to fly 1,000 miles for that merger... The rest of the schools will drop into G5 conferences...
