curious what kind of times would a high school girl need to run, in order to get a look from VT? My daughter who is a junior is a soccer player who started running winter track to keep in shape for soccer and she loves it and is having a lot of success. She has never ran spring track but is going to skip soccer and run track this spring. she has already qualified for the 4A state track meet in the 300 and the 4 by 400 relay and should win the regional 55 meters next week and go to states in that event as well. her times are 7.60 in the 55 meters and 42.3 in the 300 meters. she is getting better every meet and her coach things she will run in the 41s in the 300 meters at the state meet and should be in 7.5s soon in the 55 meters. The Bridgewater coach came to her high school this week and started recruiting her. Apparently Roanoke and Lynchburg will be interested according to her HS coach. She really wants to go to a school with a football team her dream school is Va tech but her grades are more JMU.
