I feel the same way

I am so sick of the WNIT to the point I wish they would turn them down at this point to prove a point until they make it back to the NCAA Tournament. I know the teams get more games and more practices but at this point a point needs to be proven and a statement made that we are not accepting the WNIT as a consolation prize anymore and we expect more. A lot of teams do this when they expect more from their teams. I understand if you are rebuilding, and yes you will have down years and the WNIT is great for that, but for a team that has NCAA tournament hopes and has been in WNIT so much in past years to me it is like telling your team "oh that's okay we can still play in the post season" and being mediocre is accepted. I know a lot won't agree but that is what I think. You shouldn't be rewarded for not being successful. It is like the participation trophy in my opinion. You have to want more and expect more before you become more!
