Team goes up 9 and plays not to lose and Duke takes it to OT. Kenny calls a time out in OT and either fails to tell Mabrey (who made a NBA+ 3 pt. shot a second after Kenny called a TO) that she only has 4 seconds remaining on the shot clock (or Kenny didn't know himself). After taking a 9 point lead, Tech's offense becomes a Dennis Wolff offense with everyone looking disoriented and standing on the 3 pt. line. When Tech needed to foul to stop the clock, they don't double team Duke's top FT shooter (who is #3 in the ACC in FT%). When Tech went up 9, they played not to lose. They became very conservative and abandoned the inside game. From the time Duke called a time out (when trailing by 9 pts.) to the final buzzer, Tech had lost all confidence in themselves. Baptiste had a terrible game (but all players will have a few over the long season). Kenny Brooks was out coached in the final 5 minutes of regulation and OT. The ACC is a tough WBB conference, but losing to a 7-8 team on a 6-game losing streak hurts.
