A team that has a lot of wrestlers ranked in the top 20 will often match up

well against most teams in a dual format...as very few teams have enough talent to win 5 or more classes on a consistent basis. Conversely, the teams that score highly at the tourney have several top-5 wrestlers that are able to win multiple matches and place as AA ...rather a whole team of top-20 types that may only win 1 match at the tourney. To sum up...a team consisting of 8-10 ranked wrestlers may win most duals, but it may not do well in the tourney if those wrestlers aren't top 5 types. Hope that helps
