If female athletes had marketing power, we'd have ESPN-W, etc.


I'm sure this will raise the ire of the enlightened, but women by and large don't really care about women's athletics. That doesn't mean they don't follow their girls teams and they get interested for the olympics and women's world cup for a month every 4 years, but the percentage of women who follow women's sports with anything resembling passion is very, very small.
