A local freshman scored for the Hokie women


On the women's side, Grace Boone, a freshman from Pulaski County, was one of the Hokies' top 5 finishers. She won the Virginia Class 4A 400, 800 and 1600 titles last spring, so it will be interesting to see how she does in Indoor and Outdoor Track this year. Mikayla Richardson, a senior from Blacksburg, also ran for the Hokies, but did not make the Top 5 for the team.
