I just read the rule and am honestly more confused than before. As a right handed batter, he literally ran as straight of a line to the base as possible. Fielder made a bad throw and it was still almost simultaneous with Turner hitting the bag. If the rule means interference in that case then it needs to be changed. What the hell else is Turner supposed to do there? Run 2 feet outside the line?
