I didn't even know what a hard drive was

I'd only ever used tape drives, 5-1/4 and 3-1/2 floppies. I'd never heard of a hard drive.

When I got the spec sheet for the computer options, I called my computer geek friend.

Me: Hey, do you know what a thirty emm-bee hard drive is?
Him: GET IT!
Me: What is it?
Him: YOU WANT IT!

I took him at his word and am glad I did.
