Her memories of the distant past will be better than near past


So you might be surprised just how much she remembers, even if she can't communicate it to you. My wife's grandparents immigrated here after WW2, both suffered from dementia later in life but that only affected their recent memories. Unfortunately for us that included the English language!

Might be a real treat for her to get to hear the old music again...
