I agree with you


However, I firmly believe the ACC will try it if the AAC is able to get this "victory." It wouldn't surprise me if the ACC divides up the 15 schools into 3 groups of 5. The 14 full members would still play 8 or 9 conference games. While Notre Dame would still only have to play 6 "conference games" (4 division games plus 2 games against teams from the other 2 divisions), win its division, and finished ranked in the Top 2 among the ACC teams in the Playoff Poll to qualify for the ACC Championship Game.
