"Hybrid" block schedules in high school


What's the weirdest you've seen? My son started the 9th grade today...he's got 2 classes that meet every day / all year for 45 minutes. He's got 2 classes that meet every other day / all year for 90 minutes. And he's got 2 classes that meet every day / first semester only for 90 minutes (to be replaced by 2 new courses second semester).

That seems odd to me. Almost like it could be a problem for some kids...I think it would bother me as a student.

Anyway, here is is from a simpler time...and clearly over served at the tailgate...
