That was a screwup: Linda Rondstadt but my Maria Muldur story

Years after her big hit she was at the Twist and Shout (of Mary Chapin Carpenter fame) long story short ran into her "activities director" and ended up sitting in a booth w/MM. She was pretty sick that night (but delivered her show) Probably the only (formerly famous) I person I can claim to have hung out with.

I guess she's still famous, loved her Bluesiana.
