We have two # 1 pitchers, only the elite teams have 3. Most of the time, all the other post season teams only throw their 1 and 2. There's a reason they don't throw their 3rd. Once again most of the time. A good 3rd pitcher who does not throw in postseason is likely headed to the portal, great programs have somebody lined up next year anyway. Carrie and Keely want the ball EVERY game. Looking back on this season, there was very little need for a 3rd pitcher, in fact it was a blessing not having one. Kearia and Mara, my apologies.
