What a difference a year makes

Out of curiosity, I just pulled the stats for last season versus this one and it's mindblowing.

Please, please, please, there's no need to talk about last year's staff. They are all good people who recruited many of this year's team.

Instead, let's savor just how much progress this year's team has made and appreciate that achievement. An improvement of 100 points in batting average while lowering the ERA by a half a run per game. It's simply amazing. If Pete's not a unanimous Coach of the Year, there's something wrong.

And we just won the ACC regular season title. Hot Damn!!!

More work to be done, but let's just pause and savor the moment!
