If you're into the outdoors I highly recommend

Mount Rainier -- especially if it's sunny and clear

And Olympic National Park -- only park with a beach, a glacier and a rainforest

Also out on the peninsula is Forks, which is famous for Twilight fans -- if your daughter was into that series.
