Dream on PAC 12, they are stuck and programs may have some liability


They own it, they as a group don't want to sink any more money into it. But no other network wants to go in. and Athetlics programs are sinking, because this simply network not giving the revenue as needed.

This is why SEC and Big 10 went in with a partner; and liability protections. I actually think with the ACC pausing, their agreement is modeled much more sophisticated to address the lessons learned. The key is the PARTNERSHIP with either DISNEY/ESPN or FOX. They control the markets, they know how to negotiate for rights with the satellite cable etc....

A bunch of schools simply don't have the expertise, and breath to do this
