Now comparators will kick the system off, then isolating

to the good channel until you can get on the ground. Also, even if maint. Can’t fix before the next flight, they MEL (Min. Equip. List) May allow further flight until the other channel is repaired/replaced. It may create some restrictions, but the pilots are now in the loop, knowing what is inop.
