Probably early blight

There are lots of resources about tomato diseases on the web to help you ID the problem..but short answer, try a new spot and make sure you don't contaminate the new area by using tools, cages, soil, compost, etc. from the old area. Early blight sucks. There are some varieties that claim some resistance, but I'm skeptical.
