Recruiting for sure is a given in this sport. Think about this most D1

teams have 33 players with 12 full schollies to divide among the players and most of the money goes to out of state kids.

VT has to recruit FL, MD, NJ, & NY aggressively to get to the next level. There are only 122(?) D1 Women's teams and only 28 make the tourney so VT is already towards the top if the program can continue their rise

MD, UNC, Northwestern are the blue blood of the sport with teams like JMU, BC, Stoney Brook making the occasional runs
