I find this interesting...


I have a first name that was top ten every year until around 1975 then everything began to change. The "liquid" sound is interesting I'll have to think through that although to me they sound like names of kids with attention disorders.

20 or 30 years ago I was in Radford and was served by a young woman named "Betty" I kinda loved it and told her; an old school name you don't hear many times at that age (only one I've ever heard) growing up in the sixties there were Bettys of my parents generation, it does sound like the name of someone who bakes a great apple pie.(hmm, I may be channeling Betty Crocker here) but a lot easier to say than Erin or other soccer player names.
