I cut the cord and went with Hulu but switched to YouTube TV.

Hulu lagged so badly, it was unwatchable. We switched to YouTube TV at $35 per month and I'm completely happy. Local channels, all ESPNs I watch, plus CBS, Fox and NBC sports channels. All national cable news channels and lots of others. My wife even gets her Turner Classic movies and I get the science channels. Couldn't be happier unless it was free. Yes, you get a cloud "PVR" and it works fine. I'm saving way over $100 per month. Dropped Sprint and dropped my land line as well and went with Xfinity wireless which uses Verizon facilities. Saved another $50 or so there.
